Is it really worth paying the extra for imax films? As its £4 extra per person in odeon.

I dont know if to upgrade to see the final Harry Potter in imax 3D.

Never seen a film in IMAX, but my friend saw Tron: Legacy and said his eyes were raped.

Apparently action scenes are practically made incoherent to watch, with this new HP being mostly action based, I wouldn't watch it in just IMAX. Watch it normally first, then do the whole IMAX experience so you know you're not going to lose out.

I was planning on doing it the other way round first, of seeing it with my mother in IMAX the day it came out, then see it again in a week or so normally with friends.

Going to see a film in IMAX is worth every opportunity. The BFI London, though, not the Odeon screens.

What's actually different from just seeing it normal 3D.

In our IMAX which isn't in a proper cinema has a screen that fills the whole width of the wall and I find it better to be honest

3D sucks, but aside from that aspect, the screen is incredibly wide, clearer and has perfect sound.
