Default A Habbo Fansite - The Guide To Success

Ah, Im quite bored at the mo, so i thought i would put together a nice little guide for you on how to make a decent habbo Fansite, because these days you get about 500 people making habbo fansites .co.uk n .com without even a basic knowledge of HTML! Ah what can i say i was like that at 11 years old :p So where to begin.....

Right, first of all begin to get a basic knowledge of computer code such as Html, mySQL , PHP that sort of thing check some html sites such as Funky Chickens and Lissa Explains ( i will post their addresses at the end ) Maybe rent out some books from the library i myself used Html for dummies and that sort of thing. Try out the codes on a test site, see what you can do, and the amazing possibilities of HTML. Just do simple things like <a href="www.blah.com">Text goes here</a> ( sorry if thats wrong i am indeed very tired ) Practicestuff like this for a few weeks untill you can memorise most of the basic code. You dont have to but this will be handy to stop checking websites every few mins.

If your computer has Microsoft Frontpage you can begin to put together a basic ite using the features availible you will not be able to post this on a site as you need to buy hosing if you wish to transfer it from frontpage to a site, i am merely using frontpage as an example because you can click a tab called Html at the bottom, it will then show you the html for your site. This is a good way to learn the way html is done and the way it is written, so dont go building your whole site on frontpage....

So now (hopefully) you have a basic knowledge of html. You can get free web space from sites such as geocities and angelfire ( once more i will post a wide range of free sites at the bottom of the page )with geocities you can use the site builder but thats pretty pointless if your using html, when you move on to .com and .co.uk you will be using a feature called cPanel which uses complicated features, You can message me for help with using it. Learn Hex Codes! this is essential if you wish to have background..without using site builder. The only reason i am telling you not to use site builder is because when you move on to .com and stuff like that you wont have a site builder! Start a new page and start off with a banner which you can make using paint for now as i dont think you will know how to use dreamweaver just yet. Once you have made it use image shack to get the link for the image emaple of this: <img src="URL OF GRAPHIC">
the url is the link which you get off of image shack the image should then by up on your site. basic code includes: < br > (no space) skip to next line <p > no space next paragraph, but you will know all this by now. Experiment with what you have learned to put together a basic site, keep trying new things and new styles untill you find one that looks good! If you need any extra html help you can always pm me on habboxforum as linktwist! or habbo hotel as :-original-: im on quite alot so.... after about say 1 - 2 years practice try n get about 12.00 into your bank. This is enough to by a whole year hosting, hosting sites i will post below. this is when you face cPanel the main features you will need in this is File Manager and mySQL Databases...This is the most of the guide i can put without going into detail ( It takes hours to explain ) So when you reach this stage Pm me i will have this account for life anyway Lmao.

Also if you need any Basic Layouts Made when you get to the .com stage i will be more than willing to make basic layouts free of charge - be warned... Im not brilliant at layouts... Now as promised, The links to sites...

That's not a guide to sucess, it is a guide on how to make a fansite

If you want to make a good fansite you need:

    Good Content
    Clean Layout
    Friendly Staff
    Professionalism
    and Unique things.
