    Default Permanent Ban For Spelling Mistake?

    Howdy all... I received a permanent ban back in October 2010, the accusations I received off the moderators was that I was apparently selling furniture for cash. After I received this ban I was disgusted by the decisions the moderation team had made so I wrote an appeal..

    So how did I get banned for spelling something wrong? I was in the TRADE CITY room shouting "Selling thrones for djs" - meaning DJ Turntables; because I collect rares to make profit and DJS was my next investment. Anyway after a while I mistakenly misspelled "DJ" for "DU" and the moderation team stated that "DU" means cash and that's why I received the ban. After continuously explaining that it was a spelling mistake because obviously the "J" button is directly below the "U" button it's easy to miss click the habbo team replied with the following;

    "We take permanent bans very seriously and we regret to inform you your ban will not be unbanned. If you appeal again regarding this matter you'll received this same email." I've also phoned sulake today to try and get this situation resolved but that number only deals with money transaction problems.

    So guys, is there any other way of appealing to get my account unbanned? It would be great to hear from you, I'd also love your thoughts on this,

    Tom.

    (Please also take into consideration I've never received a ban off habbo)

    Write them a letter and post it with recordered delivery so they can't deny receiving it.

    They can't deny it if you send it recorderd delivery, that's the whole point. They will have to sign for the letter and if they did deny it you'd have proof with the post office that they did infact receive and sign for it.

    Its worth a try.

    Yeah, very little though.. For a letter that weighs next to nothing it will probably cost you about £1.20 (you'll have to queue up in your post office)

    Pathetic to be honest. But that's Habbo for you, they can do what the please. I feel sorry for you but that's the way things go. I guess a letter may help although an email sounds better to me.
