After you leave, do you think you'll stay in contact with people from this forum?

It's an interesting age to be living in really. Before the 21st Century, friendship and communication was very much limited to those you physically knew, but now in the age of the internet and technology, it seems friends can be made anywhere and contacting them and staying in touch is almost frighteningly easy, what with social networking and such. Which really bodes the question, after you leave this place do you plan to or do you think you will stay in contact with some people from this forum for the rest of your life, or at least for quite a few years to come?

I can imagine some would want to do away with their contacts on here, but I also believe some really value the people they have met through Habbox. Personally, I haven't really thought about it. I have no 'plans' to stay in contact with anyone on here, but then it's not like I don't want to either. I imagine if I continue to use MSN and Twitter, then I see no reason for the people I have added on said social mediums from this forum to disappear, assuming they'll continue to use them as well. I'll be willing to bet it'll be the same for most people, but it'll be interesting to see the responses.

Yeah there are some people from here that I talk to more than some irl friends lol so considering I have them on msn now I don't exactly plan to delete them all just because I stop coming on here, not that I'll ever leave obv

Yeah, I think I would, I text a couple of people from here and rarely get a new phone and/or number and it would also depend if they stayed in contact with me in that way too.

Also, I have some on Facebook and I doubt they would delete me for leaving this forum when some people who have already left, I haven't deleted.

However, some people, I wouldn't stay in contact with because sometimes knowing someone for a while is too much for me and they begin to think they know you well enough but then again they don't know you at all which may create arguements thus breaking the contact.

well I still talk to someone who left here ages ago so yeahhhh. I've known some ppl for years on here u can't just say k bye to them if u leave the forum tbh lol I'VE E-GROWN UP WITH SOME OF U GUYS

but saying that i just don't know what will happen

i've made some really great friends here, who i can open up with and talk to about stuff i can't talk to my rl friends about and i may not act like it and i know it seems that i don't treat a lot of people here right and stuff but to the ones i talk to regularly i really do appreciate it and you guys /sob
hopefully i can stay in touch with most of you, especially niamh though heehehe i'm making it my goal to talk to him for the rest of my life

well, sometimes i don't use hxf for months (while i'm at uni) and there are a couple of people i talk to from here all the time still. i'm still really close to a few people i used to talk to on here who have left. it's been a big part of my teenage years (however sad that is) don't think i could just drop the people.
