    Default Really Bad Skin,

I actually think i've had really bad skin for the past years through high school,

    The Problems;
It can be really oily at times.
I don't as much as get yellow spots anymore,
Blackheads, I just seem to always get them, and there often yellowish when squeezed
When Shaving It always feels pretty ruff a bit like sand paper afterwards, I normally use an electronic shaver though.
I also have really bad open pores on the face, on my cheeks, they just look like small holes.

I mean, I've tried lots and lots of things, I'm not a dirty person, I get showered every morning and night, I clean my face, I've tried loads of different types of spot creams for spots, I've had cream of the doctors and tablets,

Has anyone got any tips or solutions for any of them problems?

I think I was allergic to something a couple of weeks back and my skin went all red around my cheeks and under my eyes, then when I shaved it seemed to irritate it even further and it went all rough. I use an electric shaver also, but I am always told wet shaves are better. I'd recommend getting a different razor and perhaps start having baths instead of showers and soak your face in the warm water for a while. Also use post shave balm and facial scrub.

to be honest i've never had acne or really bad skin so i don't know what it's like but i'll still offer advice. why did you start using creams on your face? i started using because i thought you HAD to wash your face with it but that's not the case at all, it only made my skin worse. i don't use anything on my face, i don't splash water on my face in the morning or at night but i still have pretty flawless skin. i just let water go over my face when i'm in the shower then i apply coconut oil to my face. most of the time when you have oily skin (which i used to have) it's because you're stripping the natural oils out of your face and oil production tries to make up for it and you get an oily mess. another thing is, oil cancels out oil so by using it it should tone down the oiliness. water does not dissolve oil so showering twice a day only irritates skin and doesn't actually wash it off while using face washes dries the skin out which also doesn't help, it's a vicious cycle.... i'm not good at explaining so i'll link you to here: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/OIL...i-t141871.html if you want to take a look i definitely recommend oil cleansing. the first thing i always always advise people is to stop using unnecessary harmful **** on their face.

another thing, are you allergic to anything? food wise or anything you put on yourself such as clothing material or lotions can irritate your skin, not just the face. as your skin is the largest organ it shows your health over all so you really are what you eat. once i cut out milk () my skin as a whole got a lot better and allergies are really bad for clogging pores.

shaving is actually quite good for exfoliating skin! stop squeezing though you probably already know that.

exercise. gets rid of toxins in your body. drinking hot water does too. steam your face..

it's really everything you get drummed in to your head at school. water, eat healthily, exercise, good amount of sleep, don't get too stressed.

i'm not a doctor and it doesn't work for everyone but if nothing else works then why not? i def recommend oil cleansing

I had really bad acne like last year. I still have some but its no where near as bad. I went on Tetracycline for about 2 months and it cleared up most of it. Drink lots of water too. I drink about 3 litres of water a day. I don't really drink anything else now unless I'm going out though. Also, put a towel over your pillow each night. A fresh one each night because you'd be surprised how much grease your hair/skin gives off and it'll be building up each night.

I used to have really ****** skin and what helped me immensely was the sun. If I don't get enough sun I will break out.. I wash my face with water in the morning, and evening and I use an alcohol free shave cream. I have baby soft skin now..
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

have you tried not using the spot cream? (not really sure if people have posted this before but) i have really good skin and the only time i get spots is if i use a cleanser or a moisturiser. try not using those products.

ALSO did you say it was bad after shaving? i've seen a few times on embarrassing illnesses that ingrown hairs on the face can cause skin problems and stuff and to see the doctors for a course of antibiotics that clean it up.

you will probably grow out of it!

Your stubble is supposed to feel rough as it's still there and freshly trimmed too.
