    I would say that having a coloured name actually gives them an incentive to keep posting as it makes them feel a bit more... involved... [dunno if that's the right word] with the community. We've also got to think about cost and buying credits for lots of new members would be a big drain on resources. I also think that with a Habbo prize, it means they can just come on for the prize then bugger off once they've got it (Posting Challenge being an example of this in action) whereas a forum prize means they're more invested in the forum and will continue posting.

    i disagree. i think if it was a habbo prize, people would come and then leave. vip encourages the user to stay because then they see what the forum is like through vip lenses hahaha.
