Every so often, clouds from the nearby disco ball planet (Discopia) come into our atmosphere, filled with the sweat of Discopia's population.

This sweat rains down upon us, and creates neon rainbows in the sky, the ground glows wherever it touches (Billy Jean-style), and if you come into contact with this sweat, you will be struck with disco fever (and may dance til you die, or not, depends)
