If a user texts a mobile number, the information can be recieved and sent to a panel? like a dj request song?

Nah, we were looking into setting it up but unfortunately couldn't find a free/cheap solution to it.

You can do something a bit clever with a Three mobile internet dongle, as the software you install can both send and receive texts sent to the SIM, you can setup a sort of on-screen text system for your PC rather cheaply.
I think getting the data sent to a DJ panel would be a bit of a mammoth task though.
