Hey - I am formatting my grandads computer and he wants XP on it, we have an XP disc in the house, but it has already been used on a different laptop. I was wondering could I use the same activation key for my grandads computer? If not could I use a vista product key for activating xp?

I think you can use the same key. Are the XP activation servers even still running?

They use the same servers as the Win7 ones don't they?
