Default where else to ask advice than my good friends at habboxforum?

I mean the petrol-heads haha! Basically guys, I'm starting college soon and I'm 17 on October 1st and I need help.
Do I take my 33BHP motorbike test and get a 125cc bike OR, wait longer and hope to get a job and and be able to afford a car?

I need advice with: what bike to get (if I were to get one)... and I'm not sure what else? Just everyone's opinions really! I just want to be able to get to college easier and sooner rather than later.

So yeah, help please :-( haha! thanks guys!

Well getting a car was the best thing I ever did. It's so liberating to be able to drive. I've had motorbikes before too so if I was you I'd try and get a job and look really hard and put all your money towards a car. They're so much better imo!

it's a tough one but a car would be better in the long run (no pun intended)

A car would be better in the long run for practicality purposes, but personally i love bikes, and you can get on one of those quicker, and cheaper than you can get in a car!

That's what I thought :-( I want to drive so, so badly! But I'm an idiot and just want to be on the road as quick as possible haha! I really can't wait to drive a car though!

Exactly! A car is much practical, but I did an insurance quote for a 1 litre Lupo and got *£6000 I've just done one for a Cagiva Mito 2000 reg and it's £200 a year thirs party fire and theft, it's so sad that a car is so much more expensive

edit: scratch that, I meant £7000

I have three friends who all decided on continuing with their bikes instead of switching to cars. As soon as winter kicked in they had all started driving lessons.
