Have you had this name for a long time? Whatever it is very harsh considering they allow extremely foul language on there. Weird! :S I would appeal saying this and asking if you can change the name.

They usually unban accounts if you request a name change.

I would go for the polite and apologetic sort I think. It may be better at least to start with.

Yeah an account of mine got banned and I had no idea until I attempted to go on it, it had 'GAY' in it, the acccount was approximately two/three years old so I feel you should ask for a name change and say you didn't know it was an appropriate name and they should have brought it up earlier if it was.
