it's quite a decent handset. It's not amazing, it's not bad it's just pretty good?
Great for a reliable phone, good colour and resolution, processing speed is good and the camera isn't too shabby.

If you can, go for the Sensation XE. If that's in your price range and that isn't... go for it!
I got my dad one, if he could use it he would love it.

The HTC Desire HD is a lot better imo, gives hte iPhone a run for its money. Although I don't think the S is that amazing tbh

The HD is quite old. The problem with it is it's a fringe device, I don't think they'd keep it running to date, be dropped soon enough.
I'll agree it's a good device but... a lot of issues.

I didnt want todo online. I went into all my local stores and asked for the SGS2, but, the best deal I could catch was at £31pm, so this is the next best phone I could have got, I had the SGS1 and wasent to impressed either.

I've had the Desire S for around 8 months now, and i've never really had a problem with it except for on one occasion when I needed a hard reset (but it was certainly an isolated issue, not global!). It's fast, nice screen and due to it's unibody frame and gorilla glass screen, it is both strong and sexy.

For the price, i'd recommend getting it!
