Yeah they are good to rely on a good finish, always leave with a bang... However last season ended with a new charactor (stella) haha! But gutted its ending again :/

Not that long to wait this time now that they do half the season, end for summer and then the other half in Autumn. Usually we have to wait from May until January. It's only two months this time!

Out of interest, had a gander on BARB. It seems Shameless isn't doing so well in ratings at the moment. Started very strong at the beginning of this season with around 4 million viewers which is fantastic. However, it's not even reaching 2 million at the moment. I know it's already been renewed for a ninth series but those figures have surprised me
