ChildLine is back with a chance to win a new badge!

Over the next few months we will be running some exciting activities that will focus on a number of issues that teens face day by day and will get you directly involved spreading the word about ChildLine. We kick off by supporting Anti-Bullying week that is running from 14th – 18th November 2011.

Check out the new ChildLine Hangout and take on the quiz to win a new badge!
Take a look at the brand new ChildLine Hangout. This is a place where you can take the weight off your virtual feet, meet others, chat and get some useful tips and advice from ChildLine. Go to the hangout now and take on the quiz. Everyone who correctly answers the quiz will receive the‘I love me’ badge (see pic below). Badges will be handed out on 30th November.

Join the Celebration March!
We would like to organise a march through Habbo to celebrate ‘difference’ and show that it’s a good thing. The march will be kicked off by our very own ChildLine Champions (see list of champions below) in Grecian’s Announcement Hall on Thursday 17th November. The champions will brief you on messages to give out to other Habbos. Then we’ll join forces and virtual hands to go on a huge march through the hotel, ending up in the new ChildLine hangout. Get your best togs on and practice your cheers and you may even be approached to become a ChildLine Champion! Left…Right…Left…Right…

“Why do people bully each other?”
Everyone is different, and it’s these differences that make people who they are. People who bully others might pick on certain people because they think they are different in some way. This might be because of the way someone looks, the things they like doing or even what kinds of clothes they wear.
It doesn’t matter why you’re being bullied, the way it makes you feel on the inside is just the same. If you or someone you know is being bullied, there are things you can do. Try talking to an adult you trust, or seek help and advice from ChildLine by visiting the website or by calling 0800 11 11.
