I saw this the other day. It's quite disturbing to think that a dead bird wasn't spotted before it was sold.

I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
Don't see what the fuss is about.
I have twice got rolls from my local bakery with a fly in them, though I just got on with it and threw the rolls away.
Plus realistically it's too expensive to quality control a salad.
The Tesco works should have seen this though when they stacked the shelves...?

One for the road.
Yeah, it is rather expensive just to quality control a salad, I would assume though with Tescos being a huge business that they would improve their quality control.Don't see what the fuss is about.

McDonalds has a machine in their factory which slices/cleans/etc. lettuce and it cost them £200,000 :L and yet, their food is still disgusting x

This brings a whole new meaning to chicken salad.

They're just stackers. Quality control is usually left down to the factory it was produced, with exemption to in house producers that usually check for irregularities in the food they produce e.g. bakery, butcher, fish monger.
I suppose you could argue that the couple should of noticed it when they picked it up too![]()
