New Gaming PC.

After many overdue months I've come into about £1,200 inFebruaryand I've been looking into a new gaming PC as mine is literally stoneage now.

I want to buy it in parts as this is usually cheaper but I've found this deal on an Alienware Aurora although I don't need the keyboard/mouse, but they are thrown in.

Anyone know if I could build a PC cheaper than this or should I just buy it?

How much does it come in total? But it most likely could be a better idea if you bought parts and built it yourself really.

This comes to £1150, I'm probably going to build myself to be honest. I just want to make sure all my parts work well together, that's the only thing thats putting me off building my own. x

If you post them in this thread then I'm sure one of techie people will say whether it will work or not and may even come up with a build themselves for you.

I was thinking more along the lines of adding an SSD, and getting 1600MHz RAM rather than 1333MHz. I also have no doubt that in this build the case alone would be pushing the price up a good £100 or so, you pay more for the brand.
He does have a £1200 budget afterall...

Just about the best place for building your own pc, lots of resources and such. Obviously people here can give you advice as well.

I saw "Alienware" and immediately knew this was going to cost a lot for oh so very little. You're literally buying a name, not a PC - and not that good a name either. If you like Dell PCs, go for the top of the range Dell PCs which will be a lot cheaper than the Alienware range. You can also build a PC yourself, as some are suggesting
