I never realised it was only us with two taps . I've got two taps everywhere except in the bath as we recently changed the taps there, but it's not a major problem although I can see why two could be a better option in some cases.

Unless it's urgent, they're more likely to report it for the moderation team to deal with .

How old are your homes, out of interest? The two taps design doesn't exist in modern day buildings :S You do not even get them in DIY stores, kitchen design exhibits etc. I only know of them in old houses that haven't been renovated. One tap designs are the future

Fantastic moderation I must say, love how the GM didn't even spot the photo which clearly uses the F word

Coming from Hong Kong where all our taps were always mixers, to a two tap system annoyed and frustrated me so much. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I swore at the bloody two tap system, which annoyed me to think which genius thought of it in the first place.

Maybe because I've always had the privilege of the mixer taps that I was annoyed. Also, yeh it's old houses I guess, the house I live in within the UK is quite old, without any major renovations for a while, so I guess that's why they were still in place.

You guys use two taps? Really? I assumed everyone used one. I would say I prefer one, naturally, because you can adjust how hot or how cold the water is. How do you wash your hands with two taps, if one is very hot and the other very cold!

Lolol it's never really occured that you can get luke-warm water everywhere, but at home you.... can't. I suppose the hot tap takes a while to get REALLY HOT so you get it going gradually warmer.

What! I would be afraid of burning myself, how silly in my opinion. Surly you have one shower head that you can adjust, though!

    yeah ofc
but I'm guessing sinks with two taps were all installed long before having a shower in the house was the norm, people were still using kettles and metal bath tubs 100 years ago

Oh, so you're saying in moden houses in the UK they would install the one tap heads on sinks in lieu of two?
