I tried getting in when people in the group opened the gate but I couldn't get through! xo

Nothing better to do? But what i mean is it doesn't look like it closes quick enough it looks like some how at some point someone could get through.

If you do not have the group badge on, you cannot get through even if its wide open.

I think you just have to be a member

You can be a member and not have the group favoured
