How often do you wash your hair?

i have thick, course, curly hair that's really brittle. washign it more often would justover-processit and ruin it

My hair is naturally curly so I wash it perhaps every 3 days because if I wash it everyday (using soap) it gets quite dry, however sometimes I might wet it with water more often.
In the summer this changes to every 2 days because I have my hair loose more often and it's more likely to get greasy quicker because of the heat.

I think i read in the past or heard if you wash it like everyday it will become greasy quicker ?? anyone else heard this or am i just thinking i heard this ?? lol

I wash mine every night/morning depending what im doing the next day. My hair is naturally curley but i do well to keep it fairly straight. It is still very wavy no matter when i was it, lolz.
