I found that if you need something, people will usually hop on an HC if you give them one. So I keep them around if I need normals. That's really the only reason I have any because I don't like them that much.
Like today I had an idea for a room but didn't have the stuff, so traded someone an HC for about 40 creds of norms. He got what he wanted, he was happy. I got what I wanted, I was happy.
