Advice??

Ik this seems like the other thread which was recently posted, but it reminded me to post this so here we go:

My English teacher, who I've had for two years now, keeps just getting at me. Last year she walked up to me in the middle of class, for no reason, and shouted 'Do you have effing mental problems or something', dragged me out of my seat and put me in isolation. For no reason.
My best friend stood up for me, but because of this my english teacher moved her down to set 6. (We were in set 1)
At the start of this year, she knows I have bad eye sight, so she sat me RIGHT at the back of the class on a table on my own. I asked her to be moved to the front. She then said to the whole class 'Cerys has some sort of mental disease so she must be positioned at the front of the class on her own. Nobody shall talk to her or you'll get a detention'

She always picks on me, gives me random detentions for nothing and screams in my face and, literally, throws me out of class. I've done nothing to make her act like this, she just does.
I've wanted to tell someone, but I have no clue what she'd do to me if she found out I'd told.

Is your teacher Miss Trunchball? You and your friend should report her, even if they don't take your word for it surely the fact your friend had been moved from the highest set to what I presume is the bottom set clearly can't be an academical thing and would be something to be investigated in itself. Or you could use your phone to record her next time she says something to you if you want proof, if you have clear cut proof of these things you claim I'm sure they would suspend her and/or at the very least remove you from her classes.

As brandon said, attempt to find some form of proof to back-up your story in case she lies and claims she's done absolutely nothing.

But yeah - the only advice I can give is too report her *** x_x.

in the other thread i talked about having a positive attitude towards teaching and authority, but, i think if you are quoting exactly what she said and not exaggerating then you need to talk to yr headteacher because they are obviously not fit to teach if they keep bringing up mental disability into class.

You've not told you parents this? Report her and see what comes of it, tbh that's bullying.

make a book of what she does and write the time and description of what's happened as 'proof'. also, ask someone in your class to be a 'witness'. then make a formal complaint

Teacher's shouldn't be allowed to pick out one child and penalize them in front of the whole class. If he/she is doing this for a certain reasons, maybe they have a grudge against you, you should report it to the headteacher (or someone from senior management) as soon as you can. This breaches a few rules staff are given to abide by.

This teacher can lose his/her job from dragging you out of your seat and moving your friend down to set 6 as it's a breach of student's safeguarding which is a serious matter.

So, in conclusion, report her to senior management of your school. It will/should undergo investigation and then, if what you've said is true, they will be removed from their post as a teacher (and could possible receive a criminal record for abuse by physically throwing you out the class). If it gets worse and senior management don't do anything - go to the police.

This is absolutely crazy! If you are not exaggerating, I recommend getting a recording or someone to agree to be a witness to her atrocities and bring it to the head of the school. Tell your parents - tell everyone that can help you! This is unacceptable.

This sounds abysmal. As a student, you have a right to learn in an environment that you feel comfortable and safe in. It is the teacher's soul responsibility to ensure that this happens.

As stated above; document all of the behavior that you feel is unfair. Take this information higher. Schools may seem different to other work places, however she will have a 'manager' someone superior who she will answer to. Whether they be a head of department or part of a Senior Management Team, they will investigate, as this member of staff is their responsibility.

I know it's easy to sometimes feel that all teachers are evil, you might feel like you can't turn to them. However they're people, not robots. Relay your mistreatment to a member of staff that you feel comfortable with, seek advice and guidance from those around you. You will find help closer to you, than on an online forum.

Take our advice, and now seek further help. Whether it be from another Teacher, or Senior Management. If you don't feel comfortable reporting to them, speak to your parents. Have them do it for you, you'll often find that parents have effective ways of communicating their anger, especially when it concerns their kids. Angry mothers have always had those teachers shaking in their boots.
