more rewards?

Seeing the announcement made me think aboutthis earlier. idea i was thinking was 5 years= 3months then every year after that, you can claim 1 month anniversary vip. Just a little top-up reward although there could be other criteria added (within that year make x amount of posts, for example).

I was gonna say do one at 10 for 6 months. But that 1 month top up thing sounds cool to me .

But then if you do it now, we would moan that we didn't get one for year 6 and would demand for an extra month as it'll be unfair on those who got nothing on their 6th or 7th year.

I like the 1 month idea but I do see where you are coming from about the last bit also, hmmm. Although we could do:

5 Years - 3 Months
6 Years - (If you've had the three months previously = 1 Month, If not = 4 months?)
7 Years (If you've had the three months previoulsy = 1 Month, If not = 5 Months?)

a different colour would be nice

We would need suggestions for that and it would have to be none of the main colours that are being used at the moment.

Which personally i don't think you should be rewewarded for, yeh you've registered your details with us 7 years ago yet haven't posted, congrats. Its not really anything i'd class as being rewarded for, think registering on the forum and posting 100 posts is far more of a achivement.

Well most of the time it's only given to people who actually still visit the forum. There may be an odd exception now and then. But what do you want to see? Just an extra month or what.

100/200 posts within what time period? What they have on their account or they must of made 100/200 posts within say 2011/2012 or something.

Yeah I see no reason why it couldn't be backdated for those who've already passed 6/7 year milestones for the first month ortwo.

Yet to claim my five year thing, I saw on a few other forums that have some shop thing where you can buy stuff for 'credits' you earn through posting. Dunno if people would want that or something
