Happy birthday ! I thought he was biting the carpet as well at first . Are you training him yourself? I'm planning to get a puppy in the summer .

What an awesome birthday present! Although they do say: Once you get a dog you never really own them...They own you!

haha yeah, well we've got a 9 year old staffy as well so atm my life is surrounded by the dogs.
He's a little pain really, he'll run around like a mad thing for about an hour then sleep for 2.
I'm getting help from my parents with training him, he knows 'sit' now and he's toilet trained a little bit, he goes on newspaper and if he's outside he'll go toilet.
Mr-Trainor, what type of dog are you planning on getting?
here's a few pictures for you all:

Toilet training is quite important, so that's good .
I'm planning on getting a Cockapoo (mix between a cocker spaniel / poodle) .
