Rock (Old or New?)

Hello Chums,
I have one question to ask - Was rock better in the old days? (Guns N Roses, AC/DC) or now? (Green Day, The Killers). Personally I like both but what do you think??? :s

Not only that but why old/new? (which ever u pick!)

I definetly prefere old rock, green day isnt what i would call rock, its more punk pop rock. And the Killers, thats more Indie?? well pure rock has declined for sure.
personally, my fav is the old 80s alternative rock
