Mercedes in it's shake-down test at Silverstone.

The general consensus seems to be that Red Bull are fastest closely followed by McLaren, and that Red Bull have an advantage in slow corners while McLaren are dominant in faster ones.

Looks like we're set for a brilliant season!

Saw the first show on the new Sky F1 channel earlier tonight..., looked decent enough!
I liked it when Martin Brundle got access to speak to Di Resta whilst he was on a test run!
Just hope that the main programme when the races are on ae good!

Roll on Melbourne next weekend... Just a shame the race is early in the morning & i'll still be in bed!

So, the season starts tonight / tomorrow morning (whatever you wanna call it) @ 1am on Sky with Free practice 1 at Melbourne.

Possible first time we see a bit of the true potential the cars will have!

Can say i wont be awake at that time but will be watching the replays @9.30am Friday morning!

McLaren 1-2, fantastic performance from Lewis. A lotus Renault is 3rd as well, I've missed this sport so much and I'm glad it's back!
