Just looking at the graphics forums and just wondering about the names of them really, I hate the fact that if I post a Habbo-based signature, it will be in the Habbo alterations yet many do not class a signature as an alteration. However, if there were about 10 Habbo signatures and then one non Habbo signature it would class as a non Habbo graphic because of that, I just think that's silly.

Firstly, the 'Habbo Alterations' forum the description is 'Show your Habbo alterations to the community.' again I don't class signatures/avatars as alterations. Of course that could be comprimised depending what the signature/avatar includes. However, the 'Other Graphics, including Pictures and Photography' has the description 'For the non-Habbo graphics, including animations, forum graphics, pictures & photography.' The use of 'graphics' should be consistent so surely the 'Habbo alterations' should be called Habbo graphics and the description changed according to that. I just think it might look better, of course I'm open to opinions but I don't see what harm it could do. With the description of other graphics it also says 'forum graphics' which connotes signatures/avatars/userbars yet contradicts with 'non-habbo graphics' so again I think renaming Habbo Alterations would be plausible.

Furthermore, someone brought it to my attention that 'Elite Graphics' is situated within the 'Habbo Alterations' forum yet many of them are not Habbo based. This might be going off on a limb but wouldn't it make more sense for it to have it's own forum or at least be moved to 'Graphic Help, Discussion and Requests' as if they are elite people often talk about them and stuff so it could be better there. I do realise many would go on the Habbo Alterations forum and see that and have a look if they wish but they are my views.

A lot of the elite graphics are pixel art and generally stick to the isometry that habbo is designed in. Perhaps rather than having habbo in the name at all it could be renamed pixel art? Maybe just rename it "forum where ellz posts all of his recolours"

I agree with this, for the most part. I'd personally say rename "Elite Habbo Alterations" to "Elite Graphics" and do not put it under Habbo graphics, as although they generally are Habbo images, they are not always therefore should not be branded as such.

I agree with both points. It is somewhat confusing sometimes when members are trying to denote which forum their graphics should go in and could be made clearer.

Signatures are absolutely not alterations - they may include an alteration of some sort but if people want to show that off it ought to be posted separately. It's totally illogical and unnecessary to put all signatures featuring Habbo-based content in the Habbo alterations section, which ought to be retitled as "Habbo-based graphics" with the tagline changed to "Show your Habbo alterations, forum art, and designs to the community" or some such description. That way all things Habbo can go in there with no confusion, and people not wanting to look at Habbo stuff can stick to the other section

As for the "élite" thread, I'm sure it used to be split between Habbo and non-Habbo, so there's no reason why this couldn't be done again with a thread in each section. It really wouldn't cause much clutter and would allow for things other than pixel art to be featured

Things more than pixel art are featured, that's the point as they are described as "Elite alterations" under a habbo category, but this: http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=688581 is not habbo related.
