Selling clothes on eBay

Got quite a few designer clothes I don't wear anymore for various reasons, some of them barely worn at all so all in very good condition so I was wondering whether I could make any money by selling them on eBay and how feasible it is?

They're all designer labels (The likes of Hollister, American Apparel, Superdry and Jack Wills) so first of all, would it be worth my effort sticking them on eBay and how much money could I expect to make on a £40 Hollister shirt for instance?

Any tips on doing the auctions?

I'm pretty accustomed to using eBay but not a clue when it comes to clothes, +rep for useful replies ;D

clothes sell well on eBay, long as you put a reasonable price on it and don't charge too much for postage.

yeah, loads of people get good money for clothes on eBay. it's the postage costs that put people off.

yeah, selling/buying clothes is very lucrative thing on ebay - and if the thing you're selling is from a decent brand, you'll post probably get some good £££ for it (obviously at times things don't go the sellers way and they make a loss, but hey ebay is a gamble unless you put a reserve price on).

i'd be wary of buyers though, as ebay/paypal are very much buyer-orientated recently and it can be difficult to prove things if you're a seller and things go wrong.

defiantly put them on, i've seen a topman t shirt sell for more than it's rrp before lol

if you put a decent starting price on there you can make a fair bit back, maybe one in a while you'll make a loss because it is a gamble selling on there.

hollister and aa arent designer , idk about the other two havent heard of them. but clothes usually go half off
