    Default Windows Vista

Hey guys, Basically my computer is full up with things that i dont even know if i need. I Dont want to uninstall them because i might need it, but its taking up some memory. So does anyone have a suggestion as to what i could do?

Also, as some people would do, i have lots of music on my pc and im thinking that clogs up memory as well as my college work, is there any way i could store my music somewhere that would lower the memory taken?

    Thanks

Buy an external hard drive You can get some cheap ones if you do some looking.

Installed programs and saved files won't slow your laptop down, running programs will. Use something like CCleaner to clear up all the crap you have installed.

You might be better off backing everything you want to keep up to a USB drive or something and reinstalling Windows Vista, sometimes a reinstall is the best way to speed things up.

Read the instructions that came with it or download them for your model, it'll tell you how.

I used to have Windows Vista and it went VERY slow. I ended up reinstalling it. It went very fast for a couple of months but then started to slow down again. Just make sure you have all the important files like documents saved to a USB stick.
