    Default Habbox Event Organisers

    Hey,

I just want to clear something off my mind, When i go into Habbox Events and i see people abusing the Host for no apparent reason it angers me, These guys are giving you there OWN furniture for nothing in return other than you tune into Habboxlive and sign upto Habboxforum other than that nothing in return and they do it at there own choice nobody has told them to they have applied to give the furniture away and represent Habbox by hosting events, So just remember when your in an event to thank the host for giving away there furniture for prizes for the event and for hosting a event and not by abusing them for no apparent reason.

    Hope some of you learn.

    Liam.

You can't really stop it, they are entitled to an opinion and usually it's because the host persistently does something wrong. However, I agree that if the host isn't doing anything wrong then you shouldn't abuse them.

I suppose if the host is doing something continuouslywrong then they should be told of/ asked to stop by Managers or even other Event Organisers, There all entitled to there opinion yes but they should state there opinion by not using abusive comments maybe by speaking to the host after the event to say what he/she did wrong/right.

I see this a lot - randoms coming in and cussing out the host for no reason. Or if they lose they get mad even though its there own fault.

The joys of being a HxEO

Oh it was fun being an HxEO; the chance to be hated just for being a host..

It's sweet of you to bring this up, but there's absolutely nothing we can do about any of it XD

If someone persistently underachieves in class, you don't abuse them. There are ways and means of raising issues so there's no need to take it out on the people who give up their time and furniture! We'll follow it up if you just tell us!

Yeah, that's exactly what we do! If we see an event that's particularly below average, then we usually send a feedback PM to the Events Organiser in question with quite a lengthy description of where they went wrong and how they can improve. I don't agree with "telling people off" on a voluntary fansite, but telling them how to improve or informing them of our expectations is a step in the right direction. Of course, we send feedback PMs to those who host particularly good events too!

    Thanks for posting! xo

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from, but it's not exactly something that can be changed. I guess people aren't so kind and polite and don't really appreciate it. Maybe hosts should be stricter, and instead of carrying on with their thousands of warnings, they shouldn't tolerate it and just ban those that are being ungrateful and rude from their event.
