The maintenance page, as already said (and I won't mince words), is awful. I don't mean to discourage you but you won't see much success if you don't put more effort in to even the small things. I can't take a site or its owners seriously when they launch a live page that uses an apostrophe to designate a non-possessive plural.

It makes me think I am visiting an amateur project and that the content and experience I will get from visiting will match. Maybe this is just me but I can't take this seriously in its current state. Best of luck in your launch, however!

This will sound rude, but what are you thinking? I find it a bit brazen to stick your donate box right there (in that huge size) on your first day open. Habbox, the oldest and most popular Habbo fansite, does not have a giant PayPal grab on their homepage. The only comparably sized box on Habbox is one that offers to give users credits just for answering a bitterly simple question. Does that not tell you something?

I won't get in to the layout - I guess I should have expected it judging from the maintenance page. Quite a few people told you to step up the quality of your designing if you wanted to be successful. Read through this thread. Did you not believe it? The fonts, the weird white space, the lack of content and the strange arrangement show a lack of care. I guess I kind of just did get in to the layout but I had to say it. I will leave that at that.

There are more professional ways to welcome people to your page than sticking 'TBA' in the welcome text wherever there is something that is not set yet. You wouldn't run an on air competition by saying the host or prize is 'to be announced'. I don't know, I find this really poorly thought through.

I know I sound like I am being a ***** when I give all of this negative feedback. Consider it tough love. I mean, feedback is better than just saying it is a mess, right? I want to see you have success. I wished you luck in your launch in my post a couple of days ago. I still wish you luck but you have a lot of changes to make, in my opinion.

Oh dear. Whole layout here is in shambles. Looks like a very poor coding job too. If you want to get anywhere, you need to completely scrap, re-design the layout, 50 levels higher.
