Yeah, there's no actual reason other than the "opportunity" which is just a device as the program is moving to scotland for the BBC's benefit.
Most unrealistic thing I think is getting a 30 year old to play a school girl(Roxanne palett).
Okay spoilers for the last episode:
Ronan is returning in the final episode (http://twitter.com/#!/benryandavies/...57340457717761) & there is a rumour that Denzil dies & Tariq ends up in a wheel chair due to a bus crash.![]()

I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
Isn't there enough heartache for Rose? First Sam died, so surely he can't die too![]()
I think controversy is the main thing, getting actual teenagers to pretend to yield weapons, fight, scenes of a sexual nature etc. I think a lot of people would disapprove. There's also probably an element of them wanting the actors to have some experience too. And besides, as long as they look the part it doesn't really matter.

On one hand I'm thinking "that's pretty cool", I'm also then failing to see why he would return.
Loved the final episode of what I will call "pure Waterloo Road" until the end. I found that ending very disappointing and would have preferred a glimpse at the new school.
was that the last ever episode?![]()
Omg that was TENSE. Thought it was gonna end up all happy and then that shocker at the end! Ahh loved when janice said about getting her passport signed. LOL
