    Default Thick hair?

    Heyy

I was just wondering if there's any hair products that actually make your hair 'thicker'?

My hair is really thin, and it makes my new hair style look rubbish. (I got a full fringe, but due to being thin it look silly xP )

So yeah, is there any products/techniques to make hair thicker?

Mousse is good, hairdryers are bad, but other than illusory effects it's your diet that's most important, since thickness comes from the follicles which require you to be properly full of nutrients in order to grow good and strong. You can get keratin treatments that will also help but they're expensive and temporary

My friend got these iron tablets from the doctors however I'm not quite sure how they worked but obviously that would be a last resort if anything (I think the reason she had thin hair is because she was low on iron anyway).

Have you thought about getting extensions to make your hair appear thicker? A few of my mates do this and it works really well because you can't even tell you have them in obviously because they have them just the same length as their normal hair, just makes their hair appear thicker.

supposedly silica tablets work, they're good for nails too.
ask your hairdresser for layers, i think they make your hair appear thicker and more manageable. i get more volume without a hairdryer, i prefer to dry naturally and when my hair is damp i put it in a loose bun at the top of my head. i have naturally thick hair according to my hairdresser and it takes like 3 hours to dry..

this really. i have naturally thick hair anyway but my extensions make it look a lot thicker and if you don't need a whole head you can get them pretty cheap.

alternatively you can get thickening shampoo and conditioner from most brands in the high street.

I am interested in traditional Chinese medicine science very much
actually, any products (chemical medicine) making hair thicker are harm to your body. Maybe you need to pay more attention to those as follows in daily life:
    1. eat more food Sulfur protein, such as, egg, milk, lean meat, beans, fish & shell, yeast, etc
    2. eat more fresh vegetable, fruit
    3. eat more VB6, VE. Such as, oatmeal, peanuts, banana, honey, and pork liver(if you are not Muslim)
According to Chinese Medicine, you need to eat food with black color, such as, black sesame, black bean, mulberry and agaric, etc
Besides, you need to change a comb, if you use a plastic comb, change it into a wood one.
Keep your hair clear. Cut ginger into pieces, and daub the juice of ginger onto your scalp, it can make your hair thicker
I speak too much…..if you are interested in herbal medicine, I can also tell a few of prescriptions.

HEY I'm like you and I have a lot of hair but it's all so THIN god damn it

Always use volumising conditioner and shampoo
Use mousse but get a mid range one because crispy hair is not nice
lightly backbrush your roots and hairspray underneath
ALWAYS BLOW DRY!!! do it upside down so your hair is like all gathered and the tip is pointing towards the floor, focus on your roots and if you have like a nozzle for your hairdryer use it. It seperates the layers while you're blowdrying to it's easier to target individual areas
in terms of a block fringe, they're an absolute nightmare ALWAYS. use a comb, not a brush unless you have a barrel one, but try to avoid the whole rounded fringe - not cool.

oh god this is so unclear, ask if you don't understand cause I cba to rewrite
