    Default Habcentral Reopens!

    Hey guys,

As you may or may not know, HabCentral was only just recently open before, but sadly we had to close our doors due to some slight problems with our other owner, but thankfully we've over overcome that, and we're bigger and better than ever. We've had some changes, especially in the management section.

So why don't you come over and have some fun on the forums!

(If you are a true member to Habbox stay here not trying to steal!)

It looks a bit promising but you need to work on your spelling and grammar in nearly every spot that text has been written. It also seems to me like you are saying things on some pages just to extend the paragraph. For example:

If your not on this page, then you've probably not been added, just speak to your Departmental Manager to be added!
Aside from the improper spelling of "you're" which shouldn't be found on what you call one of the biggest international fansites, this message is specifically for staff and not for the general public who are directed to the page. You don't see Habbox posting instructions to moderators in the Spam forum, for example. Something like that is specifically for staff and should be somewhere more private since it is irrelevant to the regular visitor. The only reason I can see why you would have put that there, as I said, is to extend the paragraph.

Either way, it is great to see so much initiative and I wish you the best of luck!

EDIT: I had to note this as well because it is just cringeworthy for a fansite aiming to be professional. Consider it help!

Aside from the fact that calling your help desk staff 'bots' and comparing them to the useless Guide Bot that one rarely finds helpful, this whole bit has a starting capital on each word. You will find that people Find That Typing Like This Is Almost As Annoying As PeOpLe WhO tAlK lIkE tHiS, oR eVeN wOrSe, PEOPLE WHO INSIST ON TALKING LIKE THIS. I guess you get my point. Really, these are minor things but they will turn away more potential visitors than you can afford to lose.

Clicking the link on the forum, the first thing I saw was the lack of graphical capabilities with you or the staff that made the girls arm on the page. It has no shading and is as flat as a pancake thus makes my first impression a negative one!

Good luck with it but I don't think it's unique or amazing, sorry!

I'm not a fan of the maintenance page - It just looks like an actual working site till you discover some of the links aren't working and so on. I think actually having something clearly stating coming soon would help.
