Isn't it just the worst thing when you're so tired, yet you can't sleep!? Well I'm suffering from that just now it's a nightmare!

Yeah, it sure is haha, but it's much worse when you have certain thoughts and it's almost impossible not to think about them which keep you awake longer.
Then there's the times when you worry about not being able to sleep and then it makes it even worse (this is a Psychological cause for Insomnia, stating it is a learnt disorder through conditioning)!!
I used to suffer from sleeplessness. I went to my doctors and she told me that it was just anxiety and all in my head :S
I listened to whale music which was weird but it helps me to sleep so that's good.. I guess
this has never actually happened to me. whenever i'm tired and lie down i'll fall asleep almost instantly. if i force myself to stay awake ie on the laptop or walking around then obviously i wont but if lying in my bed then yea i will

Lol well I'm jealous it only happens if I stay up too late I think my mind is too active![]()
I'm like buttons and usually just fall asleep straight away but I hate it when you go to sleep thinking about stuff then you can't get to sleep because you're over working your mind then you start to over think things then you think about how you can't sleep and eurgh it's horrible because then you can't sleep haha
cats > you
Exactly ! Haha
i hate that, i'm getting it atm. the nurse says its because my body's not dealing with grief + being sick but it's so annoying. i'm pretty much constantly hocked up on red bull atm![]()
The question is how long you've been having sleeplessness.
The second is how good/bad is your sleep hygiene? It's best not to have clocks around you, especially the ticking ones. I found it helpful when I put mine's away!
And of course you need to develop a sleep pattern. Do not adopt irregular sleep pattern. Milk or banana help with sleep too!
