If we weren't in the thought process of creating a new template then it would be re-written.

Dunno if it is dynamically generated or not but it would take a few minutes (i.e <5mins). Just use find and replace, remove all table related elements and replace "<button" with "<div><button" or "<li><button" and "</button>" with "</button></div>" or "</button></li>" and apply a simple CSS rule. I'd personally use a unordered list rather than divs.

Add some margins if you want them spaced out a bit more. Remove the style="..." from the ul and it will cause the buttons to automatically fill the available space and adjust (basically, unless there is some compelling reason to have it there, which I can't see, then you can just remove it)

Oops forgot the hack for IE (Where would we be if we did not need a hack for IE? >.>) Just add:

*display: inline;

to the #buttons li CSS else in IE it will just display one button per line. Works fine in other browsers without this hack.
