Question about monster plant pets

Hey everyone, i didnt know that they died in the beginning so i left it in my room and my first one died,,, i bought another seed and planted it.. what i want to know if if i pick it up and put it in my inventory instead of in the room.. will it still be able to die or not? Because i have a holiday in october and altho its a while, i dont really want to get into it and then find it dead again lol

They still die if they're in your inventory and you don't treat them within 30 days!! You could put it in a room and ask a friend to keep it alive for you??

30 days is better than a day though i guess haha..
