Their claim about 2/3rds of mobile browsing being on MobileSafari made me flat out laugh. I know iOS devices are popular, but there is no way that they outsell all competitors combined to get that kind of usage

Remember, there is browser choice on Android. You aren't stuck with one browser on that platform but on iOS you only have one.
I think i'm going to have to really disagree on that if you consider all iOS devices, with the amount of iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches sold.
Interesting article about the graphs that Apple showed today at it's WWDC keynote:
Apple is good about lying with statistics when the truth hurts

I see Apple are adopting a North Korea strategy when it comes to statistics. I wonder if their Dear Leader (Cook?) gave the go ahead and is really that bad as a CEO or if some drone working within Apple made such a stupid mistake when the world can find out the real statistics with next to no effort. The browser stats are ridiculous, but then again Apple advertising has always been ridiculous. I bet the sheep lapped it up, but then again the WWDC has always been a subpar event filled with far too much hype with very little, actual, useful and amazing information.Interesting article about the graphs that Apple showed today at it's WWDC keynote:

Mac Pro kinda got an FU.
There's no way on earth that iOS outsells Android+WMP+Blackberry+all other smaller competitors combined, that's a ridiculous claim
There is supposedly a completely new design coming out in 2013, hence the FU now. No doubt that will include the thunderbolt and USB3 etc.
But if you think about it, everyone single one of those iOS devices is forced to run MobileSafari. All the other handsets have a choice of operating systems. I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't actually cause that statistic to be not far off correct.
http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/11/30...resdesign-2013Update: MacWorld and Forbes both have official confirmation that the iMac and Mac Pro are getting redesigned for 2013. Apple CEO Tim Cook himself chimed in: "Although we didn't have a chance to talk about a new Mac Pro at today’s event, don't worry as we're working on something really great for later next year," he wrote in an email.
