It shouldnt have but did. And sulake has been told about this stuff from their very own users that they claim to protect, but it is clear they have ignored them.

I agree with most of what you said. I just don't like how the report was conducted at all. Perhaps if they had made examples of a number of social networks/chat rooms, rather than just habbo I would have taken it seriously. Channel 4 was not professional, and for it me it came across as a personal attack on habbo rather than a report on the lack of internet moderation.

I mean were phrases like "Mecca for Paedophiles" and "Dangerous Game" really necessary? The issue should have been addressed in general as a whole, as from experience I can say that there are worse online teen communities than habbo that are flooded with "paedophiles". I think many chat rooms such as IMVU and Second Life will assume they've gotten off lightly due to habbo being targeted imo.

As a user of Habbo for over 10 Years I have seen this website evolve into a monster. Now alot of you are young and dont notice marketing ploys and money generating schemes but as an adult it is quite obvious to me. I just wanted to hop on here and say Habbo has many more issues than users preying on children and the only reason this is an issue now is because it was in the media. It has been an issue in your website for the last 12 years but now that its in the media "oh no its time to do something!" Your moderation staff is a joke and your customer service is even worse.

What catches peoples eyes more than violence? Sexuality, and when you throw the whole "your child is at risk" thing into this it is destined to become a firestorm. Personally I hope Habbo loses out on alot of money because of this. They have been abusing their community for a long time and using them in a most disgusting way. The fact that adult users are completely ignored annoys me very much, we are the users that built your website and generated your funds and now you push us off to the side and try to take more and more of your users freedoms away and focus more and more on forcing users to spend money.

You have been doing your best for the last 7 years to eliminate "old coin" and "old furni" and this all started with the merge. Now you guys have kicked it into overdrive each month for the last two years easily. With your ecotron and your recycle plasto furni, pet food and pets in general, furni value, re-releasing rares in catalogue, and new marketplace, and marketplace in general, and oh guess what now everyone no more pixels! You cant be getting free stuff on Habbo no no no thats unforgivable! You must spend money! You must ask parents to waste their money on this! You must sell your personal information for "free coins" which in turn is sold to more and more people and this goes on forever by the way. All Habbo does is try to profit off of their community and this is how we are treated for our devotion.

Now with all that said.

Thanks for punishing me and everyone else because your negligence is in the limelight and hey I really appreciate you wasting my VIP Days, wooo Habbo your Customer Service is #1

Yeah look at Habbos innocent furni lmfao I remember taking the New Habbo Way quiz and they tried to cover their tracks and force you into thinking that their "Kissing Booth" furni is innocent and fun.
