Definitely an interesting idea... but I really doubt a couple of days will drive away all of the sexters as you called them

Ooohhhh a panic button. I must say I am excited for that just because of the name.
I also like the idea of the safety quiz to enable chat, yet there will still be members who will do the quiz and continue with their ways of being sexually explicit. As it has been mentioned before, Habbo's choice of advertisements and furniture within the hotel does not help this.

Some of them, yes. But there have been convicted paedophiles inside the hotel, so it's not 'as we know'.

They don't care if habbo closes, they'll just move onto another site to have their wicked way.
Sulake have picked up on that, by muting the hotel they're driving away all those who are vulnerable (who are probably making accounts on Club Penguin, IMVU or whatever as we speak) whilst keeping us true fans on more than ever.
In all honesty, I don't see the point in the mute. Again, I don't see what they're "investigating". Like I said, there have been convicted paedophiles in the hotel, so it's nothing knew. They should put it on a maintenance break, and sort out moderation systems.

This means when they un-mute the hotel they'll probably boast about how much safer they've made it with some sort of new moderation system, but what they've actually done is forced the e-sexters to other websites and they'll take the paedophiles with them.
They'll boast either way, that's obvious, but they will never truly weasel out everything. There will always be a small minority of people who will cyber/e-sext etc, and with that will always come the paedophilia element of it.

Thumbs up Time to bring back Hobbas?

Habbo is up a creak without a paddle right now, we all know that. It seems though that most of this will go
away if they tighten their security up a bit, right?
Well, why not bring back Hobbas? With a strict application process and age limit of course.
