I would love to see Emma Monks have a big involvement in the future of Sulake. One of the very few staff that I have ever admired.
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!

Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.

I think soonish, as it doesn't take that long between the codes going in and actually being added

The fault lays solely with parents of children who go on the hotel. If these parents did check the hotel out before allowing their children on (which they should do, if they're so concerned and especially if their children are naive) then we wouldn't be having this discussion. Indeed, you cannot allow your children onto an internet chat room without checking and then being surprised that there are rooms titled 'Strip Club' etc.

If most parents did this, then Habbo/Sulake would be forced to put in stricter rules simply to survive as a business. It is totally the wrong way around that a) Sulake gets in trouble for this & b) there are calls for strong government legislation on the internet.

I'd also add, i'm not a fan of Sulake since they won't allow me to redeem my Habbo account - but that's another topic.

I'm sorry, but some of the reasons people have given to support Habbo are so ridiculous.

Channel 4 went looking for the explicit chat!
I'm pretty sure that the rooms they went in are at the top of the popular rooms lists... that means typical, young users are likely to click on them without really thinking of it. Also, 11 year olds DON'T go looking for cyber-sex in those rooms, they go to find a 'boyfriend or girlfriend', where they will say "I love you *kiss*" and that's generally the worst that will happen. When you have people going up to these young children with explicit chat, then in my opinion that is NOT okay, and Sulake has a duty to stop this explicit language.

It's the parents fault, they should supervise their children.
In an ideal world, parents would screen EVERY message sent to their children. Habbo is meant to be a MODERATED chat room. That is meant to mean the parents can trust their child's safety on this website. Obviously, they can't which means Habbo is failing. I'm sure most children who use Habbo have their parents maybe in the same room or checking up, but they can't see every message as I said.

There was other ridiculous statements said but I can't remember all of them, but put simply, Habbo is failing their responsibility as a chat room for minors.
Gabriella Cilmi and Mollie King are legends.
I quite like Una Healy too

don't think normal users should be able to fully moderate but habbo defiantly needs more active mods that'd be prepared to go through the masses of requests etc

I agree with this, they wouldn't actually be hobbas though, maybe something similar, I think it should be people who have been a good helper for a while, there should be a few more tests which should be more challenging than the initial one to become a helper and they could determine who would be good for this
Also, they shouldn't be able to do everything a moderator can do but perhaps ban someone from a room or mute them, also make a popup appear on another habbos screen for example if someone is pestering another user, give the user who is being bullied or whatever a popup saying 'you can ignore this user by clicking ignore etc. etc.' or 'remember never to give your personal info away' also, because these people would be habbo players, they can kick or warn people who are blocking or giving away scam links. It would be easy for them to go round the rooms checking up on what is going on and if somebody does need banning then they could use their tool to report it to a mod who would do the actual banning
