The mute is not to punish the habbos, it is so people who have seen the news reports dont make an account and see that the things in the news are going on and then more news reports would come out and more chance of habbo shutting down, it would seem like habbo had done nothing about the problem

Glad we're getting compensated, although we could use VIP and stuff, it would have been pointless. We should all get a throne for being great too. ;l Hope we're unmuted today.

Yes but no chat makes the game uninteresting and boring, so people stop playing. VIPs are renowned as being "loyal" because they've most likely bought credits (revenue for Sulake) to get that VIP. To purchase a premium service and then find out that the service you're using it on has turned into a disaster because no-one can communicate, would piss you off a lot.

Also, just an example, if a VIP had been a fan of CC they wouldn't be able to reap the benefits by playing that game often (due to more clothing varieties - it's usually VIP members who win the game ).

True they can buy credits, but I imagine Sulake consider a wide % of them to purchase it on VIP. A higher % of people have probably purchased credits and then got VIP than those who didn't bother with it. Also, considering VIPs can play unlimited games of SnowStorm and chat is disabled on that, that ruins it for them as well. The same for :chooser if they wish to play 5 sec. to kick or w.e it is.

Sulake already gave a badge and trophy out to everyone, norms haven't been completely left out.

Why credits, you can still use your credits? The marketplace is there for shopping and you can still trade. Heck, @Mathew; even managed to run his grabber loool. As for the :chooser thing, I meant if they wanted to play the game they couldn't because everyone would be on the mute and if a host tried to explain the rules or tell them when the rights had been given out, it would be difficult.

BECAUSE, as in the few examples I have given to you, they can't use their features. With credits, you can still trade stuff and create rooms, you can even host a grabber or casino as Mathew has done. VIPs can't use their features in certain situations - e.g. CC, 5 seconds to kick. Also, if VIPs want to continue to chat and make new friends, then they can't due to the mute so their extra friend list space goes to waste.

I wasn't aware that Sulake providing a good token for some people was such a horrid thing. I bet most of us loved it when we got that 7 days VIP, but VIP members being compensated is such a horrid thing.
