Depends on the service and if the waiters are nice!
I usually do anyway as I hand over eg £5 for a £4.50 brekky or something at a cafe and say keep the change.

Sometimes I say keep the change or if I get some back, put it in their tip jar.

No, I demand my change back even if it is just a penny. The one time I tipped for what could only be said was a mediocre service I felt dirty. I sometimes moan at others for tipping if it was a really poor service.

always always tip if it's a sit down waitered service
so like in restaurants, some cafes
occasionally when service is really really terrible then I don't but that's rare

sometimes I tip in like cafe nero and starbucks if the staff are friendly and chatty

Never tbh My friend went to the USA and the waiter chased her out of a café shouting "ma'am you forgot to leave a tip!!!" and she was all confused. But apparently that's how they do things in America

Edit: actually wait. I tipped a waiter 1p once because he was so awful and I wanted to embarrass him. I felt mean but he was horrible so it was his fault ok

Guess it's a cultural thing in the UK not to tip quite as much, but in North America we always tip. Taxis, restaurants, deliveries, all get tips generally. I always give the pizza deliveryman about a 20% tip, same for restaurants.

I think it's because the wage in the USA is less, so staff usually rely on tips to actually make a living. In the UK people are generally paid well enough to not need tips to survive so their importance is lesser.

No i dont tip. it's not a part of the culture in Malaysia and they have these government tax and service charge so i dont think they need tipping they could just get it from the addition service charge.
