I'm more likely to give songs a chance when they're on the radio..
If I'm sat at home, and someone suggests a song for me to listen to, it usually gets 20 seconds of playtime, then it's off, and I just judge it on that,
But on the radio, I'll probably listen to the whole song, and probably likely to enjoy it..
So, I guess you're right in some ways

LOL! I sometimes listen to Kiss FM and sorry to say but it's ridiculous.

In Portuguese radios the song I like to listen the most too is probably We are Young

It depends on the situation. If you are for example out on a night out dancing to music having a good time with friends, a few drinks etc. your going to enjoy a song more than you would if you where just sat at home listening to it

I think it's because the next track is unexpected. Listening to an ipod on shuffle is boring because you put all those songs on it, everything is expected and it's also the thought that other people are listening to the same 'playlist' as you. It's a bit like soundrop, you and your friends could easily listen to the same song but it's better if it's in sync and being played to everyone at once.

I don't really listen to local radios as most of them just turn into big chat shows, which just makes it boring

i very rarely listen to the radio so i can't really say. but i find that when i watch music videos along with the music it seems a lot more enjoyable, it adds effect and gives you a better understanding of the artist and the song itself.

    This!

And what others have said it's unexpected. It's best when you're on a night out and your fav song comes on, ah so exciting.

I enjoy listening to the radio I think it's because it introduces me to new music and I feel that I'm keeping up with what everyone else is listening to - whether it's music that I like or not

I've been scrawling it forever but it never makes sense to me at all...

To me at least with my local radio CFM it feels too mainstream. I've listened to it a few times but there's hardly any interaction and most of the music is either main mainstream music or old music. It feels like there isn't anything for the young generation, students etc thus why I wanted to create a local student radio.

But I rarely listen to radio unless I'm in a car or something
