I think you'll find it was James from [MSG//] and Max (>Max< from Habbox/Tex to the hacking world) that confirmed it first... when they broke into Habbo housekeeping...

They also proved a few other things... like a 16year old being made a hobba (Even though Sulake were forced to make the age limit 18+ after some girl messed up her exams while being on Habbo too much due to moderating the hotel).
And erm... proving a few other MOD private accounts etc.

Tbh it's amazing how many ex-Hobbas became staff. E.g. Hek_182, Kitten.007, lindamerlin, Y0RKIE, MrFixer, Elux etc. Must have been pretty lucky arses.

Oh thank you, and wow. That must have caused a gigantic uproar lol, if I was on the hotel back then I don't know which "side" I would have taken tbh :S

And mhm I read about Y0RKIE dying whilst looking for old Hobba pics. I believe lilduckie (MOD I think) and snoopstar (Hobba) were also 2 more of the "well-known" deaths on the hotel as well. Snoopstar passed away in 2002 and lilduckie in 2002 as well. Extremely upsetting

Yes extremely difficult to fully understand what went wrong. For a Hotel Manager to promote safe gambling wasn't right in my opinion. However Jibbi I believe did pay out the 40 thrones, and I like others suspected this contributed to her leaving.

I chatted with Y0RKIE, he was such a nice guy and also very generous to poorer Habbos. The other names you mention are before my time.

Mhm, I don't blame Jibbi for handing out the 40 thrones tbqh. The person who won was rightfully entitled to them, but I personally believe they should have let the draw "roll over" instead of rolling again on the spot. As for whether she should have taken back everyone who managed to get free credits, indeed she should have/alerted someone else at Sulake about it.

Was Jibbi a good HM overall? Haven't been around to experience any HM except Lost_Witness and the others after him (Kitano/Neja/Puffin/SmoothCriminal/Fozzie - I believe they were HMs).

Hmm good question. I think as the game has progressed Hotel Managers have tried to offer more and more and have a larger involvement in the game.

Ione was probably the most honest and reliable of Hotel Managers.

Jibbi was Jibbi and sadly apart from the scandal I don’t remember too much about her, although I do have a trophy from her, which I won by entering Funky Friday.

Callie, well she loved fame haha. She was also very fond of males. I think she did a huge amount to promote the Hotel and the game was at its peak when she was HM.

Lost_Witness was previously a Hobba, I met him a few times before he became HM, and he was a fairly decent dj, and did a Sunday evening show giving away a throne from his own inventory to whoever could guess what would be no. 1 in the UK. I know very little about his role after he became HM.

She was INCREDIBLY fond of a male called Causmo... they were together in private rooms all the time. Met Callie quite a few times through Causmo.
