It doesn't work because Sam Broadcaster is built for the Windows platform only, plus .exe don't work on the Mac operating system. There are alternative programs out there though such as djay and NiceCast (Both applications are used in a combination).

Maybe @Pigperson; can help some more on that.

I now use a Mac and djay and Nicecast work well together. The only unfortunate thing is that djay costs £6.99 from the Mac App Store and you need a registration code for Nicecast (I think you can look around for one similar to what you have to do with sam).

Nicecast acts as the actual broadcaster so you just link that up with djay and it broadcasts everything played on djay. djay is a program that uses your iTunes as a music source which is handy as you then don't have to rename and reorganise your stuff.

If you have any questions feel free to ask them

How many times do I need to make this post?

You can use WINE and Sam Broadcaster will work 100%. I currently have it on my Macbook Pro working without any issue!

Yes and I forgot to say, for £6.99 it is amazing value for money. Like seriously it is so stylish and it's been discounted so much. Also you can purchase a separate app for your iPhone or iPad which links them up with the Mac and means you can DJ from them like when you are on the toilet

Anyway, it's a purchase I'm really happy that I made.
