Safety Lock removed temporarily

Staff sent out a minimail message about the temporary removal of the Safety Lock feature.

We noticed that you have activated one of our newest pilot features, called "Safety Lock." This is a feature that allows you to limit access to a specific IP address for improved security.


Some Habbos have experienced difficulty unlocking and changing the IP address, so we are going to remove this feature temporarily until the issue is resolved.


If you have been locked out of your account due to the Safety Lock, you should now be able to access from all IP addresses. Make sure to refresh your browser to ensure the change takes effect.


We will continue working on this feature and let you know as soon as its available again.

Yeah I had some problems with this feature, had to email Habbo about it to get it sorted! Good for them to fix it and figure out what's up with it.

Yeah when i seen the email about this from my phone i thought my account was hacked and someone had tripped it haha

I never had any problems with it. I accidently locked my account just once and was able to get it back within minutes. Hopefully it will return soon.

i had a talk with Hil about it, he told me he was going to have it disabled a couple of weeks ago. glad it has, he said something about a new security system to take its place.
