So yeah made another account so I could ask this anonymously.
I'm going to try keep this sharp and short so I don't lose your interest.
Basically I have an awful immune system, I am a fussy eater so I don't eat fruit veg or meat... Basically carbs is my life lmao.
But I had a complication a while ago and had to have surgery on a not so serious part of my body but it had to be removed. Sorry I can't give much away incase you guess who I am haha, if you haven't already :S
Anyway, my body sucked at healing after the surgery, 4 months on and still pain.
But the main thing is, my doctor said to me, "Look your health isn't good and your problems keep getting worst. You were in hospital a few weeks ago in Resus because you were tachycardia and nearly died. You have had so many appointments in the past year that our system flags you as someone we need to investigate more for further problems, me and a few doctors and nurses discuss your history and recent events and that all these problems and the deterioration points to an obvious thing that we are sure of you have. We believe you may have Cancer, but this isn't a definite to don't worry, panic or get upset, because nothing is known until we take some blood marker tests and check for some Cancers. So we would like to take some blood to get them sent off and the results back as soon as possible."
I was in shock, that's something nobody wants to hear. I said to him "No, no. No I don't want to give my blood, I don't have it and I don't want to know."
He tried to persuade me and stuff but he said he couldn't force me or contact family because of my age (18).
So I've kept it quiet for a few weeks and haven't told anyone except two friends, the rest of my family and friends don't know and I don't dare tell them. I don't want to... I cant?
What can I do. I am pretty scared but I'm also not accepting that it's happening to me, even if theres a chance it isn't. I'd rather live and die from it not knowing I had it, that have a blood test and find out I do..
