people don't recognise it as a planet though
planets orbit the sun and plutos orbit crosses neptunes orbit

Dwarf "planet". Although I can see the confusion .

This is like when people argue sometimes in games that "black" isn't a colour, it's a shade :L.

    Fgs just gonna do it.
@FlyingJesus; could probably answer this, he seems to be one of the most intelligent people on this forum so why not . I think if Jurv was only including planets which are known solely as "Planets" then Pluto is incorrect. If he was including all types of plants - e.g. "dwarf planets", "binary planets" (I think I made that second one up LOL) then Pluto is correct fgs.

As you still got the answer and it's not something like "FOOD" = MILKSHAKE where there's lots of possible answers that it's not too bad or the end of the world if it was left alone.

There are, unfortunately for Jurv, clear distinctions made between planets and dwarf planets, and dismissing these is somewhat like suggesting that the oddly-named "peacock mantis shrimp" is actually related to any of the things that it bears the name of. If he wanted to include the rest then the terming should be celestial bodies or some other such term, but not planets
