how do you make your tea?

Only drink tea at work -
- Tea bag
- Hot water
- Milk
- Sugar


If my colleagues are making lots for the staff then I force them to put sugar in first because they forget - even though it says it on the drinks list!

Spoonful of Coffee, teabag, 3 spoonfuls of sugar, cover teabag with milk. Fill with water to top of cup. Go pee. Stir. Remove teabag.

You have tea and coffee together? That sounds horrific lol

This thread reminds me of George Orwell's famous paper on how to make the perfect cup of tea. Anyway, I do..

Teabag and sugar in the cup, pour the boiling water - leave to stand for a few minutes, squeeze the teabag and then pour in the milk and stir.

Bobs your uncle, you have a cup of tea.

tbh my mum normally makes it for me

however on the odd occasion I have had to create my own tea I have done the following:



1) Whip out a mug
2) put water in the kettle thing
3) turn kettle thing on
4) put some sugar in the mug
5) whip out a tea bag
6) put the teabag in the mug
7) wait for kettle thing to turn itself off and steam to come out
8) pour hot water into the mug
9 gently stir to avoid breaking the tea bag
10) remove the tea bag using fingers
11) add a bit of milk so its not too hot (I like my tea quite cold)
12) give it a good hard stir
13) drink woooo
