Problems with Coding [ low priority ]

Hey. I've been trying to put the following code in my signature. My mate gave me it via MSN:

Hello there $bbuserinfo[username]!

It is supposed to show up as;

Hello there Adam!

[replace Adam with the username of the person viewing it]

However, it doesn't seem to work. There are other codes similar to this, but can anyone tell me how to get that one [above] to work, and possibly tell me the other codes? +rep for help.

I think the problem may be that you aren't allowed to use PHP within you signature, as it poses a security risk. I think that only admins can change it via admin CP.

I think Nintendo is right, PM an admin about it, asking if that is true anyway.
